Cae Caled Cottage is set in the extensive grounds of Glan Clwyd Isa, and is adjacent to the main house The grounds, wild life ponds and surrounding fields have received an award for Conservation and Biodiversity. Guests staying at Cae Caled Cottage have access to the land and can take advantage of the fishing on our stretch of the River Clwyd. The Cottage has been extensively refurbished to offer a high standard of accommodation on two floors. The ground floor is open plan, with an exceptionally well equipped modern fitted oak kitchen with granite worktops, opening on to the living area which has luxurious leather sofas, log burning fire, TV, and DVD player and hi-fi. The large French windows have views over the garden and down the fields to the River Clwyd. The second floor has a large galleried bedroom, a massive Welsh Oak hand made bed with Egyptian cotton sheets and a selection of pillows offering maximum comfort. A comfy cot or two are available on request at no extra charge. The en-suite bathroom has a large deep bath and a walk in rain water shower, towels provided Cae Caled Cottage is in an area of outstanding natural beauty in the Vale of Clwyd. Near to the Offas Dyke trail, and the Clwydian hills with its country pubs and wonderful views, yet within easy reach of Chester or the Welsh Coastline. The cottage is set in the most perfect location. A heated outdoor swimming pool is available by arrangement during the months of July August and September.
